A fantastic Italian majolica topiary featuring a sculptural Frutti De Mare (fruits of the sea) arrangement of fish, crabs, mussels, a large lobster and lemons. What is really taking this topiary to the next level is the incredible metallic lustreware glaze on the basket and all the seafood giving the piece a beautiful glowing iridescence. The red lobster is the only one without the metallic glaze and it creates an artistic contrast.

The four scenes are: Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna (Napoleon's headquarters during the French occupation 1805-1809); Bataille d'Austerlitz; Francois II visitant Napoleon; and Vous etes grande comme le monde (words spoken by General Kléber to Bonaparte after the victory of Aboukir Battle in 1799).

A beautiful English covered vegetable bowl by Spode Copeland in the fabulous Fitzhugh Green design.

Fitzhugh is one of the most expensive and sought after Chinese porcelain patterns out there exported from China between 1775-1850. This bowl is a vintage rendition of the original Fitzhugh made in England sometime between 1954 - 1985.

It was hand-decorated in a vibrant emerald green enamel and dragon head handles. A fantastic serveware piece, particularly ahead of the holidays.
