A fantastic pair of mid-century Chinese porcelain parrots decorated with a high glaze turquoise, purple and cream enamel. Each bird was modelled perched on a rocky outcrop and is depicted in fine detail: bodies are a gorgeous turquoise, cream beaks, feet and tongues and deep purple / aubergine crests and rocks.

Absolutely beautiful and a great collector's item.
