A set of four rare trinket dishes, bearing two commemorative portraits of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar who was the first modern Persian monarch and third longest reigning monarch in Iranian history until 1896 when he was assassinated.
The two portraits appear to be transfers while the red and gold decoration around it appears to have been hand-painted.
They make a wonderful gift.
