A rare and fabulous set of twelve (12) antique charger dinner plates made in Limoges between 1890 - 1902 by the French Pouyat pottery for the American department store Wanamaker.
These French plates are absolutely stunning! They’ve been hand decorated with small pink roses, green vines and gold laurels along the rims as well as with a delicate gold lattice in the center.

- Made in Limoges, France for Wanamaker, one of the earliest and most innovative high end American department stores
- Marked with the Pouyat marking as well as with Wanamaker’s New York, Philadelphia and Paris green wreath mark
- In excellent antique condition - almost no fading in the gold and only one plate has a small chip on the rim (see photo). Absolutely remarkable condition given their age!
Hand wash recommended in order to preserve the design and their excellent condition.
