A gorgeous set of eight antique German porcelain fish plates made in the very ornamental rococo style. These were made and decorated sometime between 1896 - 1916 and their remarkable condition is a testament to the skillful potterers of that time.
There are three different fish patterns but they all show a pair of fish swimming in the water and surrounded by a deeply scalloped border and further accented by pink and green floral trim and a thick gold design. These plates are delicate and feminine, as well as beautifully soft and romantic.
Highly elegant and hard to find.
