A beautiful and well executed PJ Mene replica of an Italian Greyhound. French sculptor Pierre-Jules Mêne (1810-1879) was one of the most successful and prolific animalier sculptor of his time. 

Mene’s pieces were mostly sculpted in bronze but I believe this reproduction to have been made of brass or silicon bronze. He is beautiful and a great alternative to an original PJ Mene sculpture which are very rare and appraise for very high values at auction houses.
