Italian Roman Gladiator On Horse Chariot Statue
A fantastic vintage Italian statue ofa Roman gladiator on a horse pulled chariot heading into battle.
Crafted in fine detail of reproduced marble, this sculptural piece will bring the ancient Roman Empire feel into your home. Place it atop of a column, console or coffee table as a nod to antiquity.
I believe the gladiator may have originally be holding a sword or a spear and if so, it is missing.

Santini is known for developing the process of combining marble, alabaster and resin to create high quality reproductions of classic art pieces. This material was then poured into molds made by Santini and after hardening at room temperature, the figure was taken out and completely finished by hand in the very old artistic Italian tradition and style that the great masters of marble handed down through the ages.
