Rare porcelain bowl exquisitely hand-painted in a Chinese cabbage Bok Choy pattern with matching saucer.

Stunning hues of deep emerald green leaves, pink, yellow and purple butterflies and a central double happiness medallion.

There are six butterflies surrounding the center medallion both on the bowl (inside and out) and on the saucer. Number 6 is considered lucky in Chinese culture and can indicate smooth progress in life, happiness and blessings.

  • Saucer: 6.25" dia
  • Made and hand-decorated in China, circa 1940-1950
  • Both in excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Minimal wear in the gold rims and coloring

  • International customers: We use DHL Express for all international orders. Tracking information will be provided immediately upon shipment.
