Made after the famous 15th Century tapestry called La Dame A La Licorne (The Lady And The Unicorn), this is a series of five highly decorative plates each featuring one of the six tapestries in the set. The five plates represent: smell, taste, hearing, touch and desire.
The original tapestry set is on display in Paris and is often considered one of the greatest works of art of the Middle Ages in Europe.
Plates were made in Limoges, France by Robert Haviland C. Parlon and were a limited edition. Each plate is dated and numbered.
