A sophisticated vintage Chinoiserie lidded porcelain box, presented on a custom dark-stained carved hardwood stand. Rendered in the very popular Tobacco Leaf motif, this rectangular piece features lush, hand-painted oversized tobacco leaves in shades of pink, turquoise, and cobalt, intermingled with blooming peonies, delicate blossoms, and vibrant pheasants perched atop the lid. 

Accompanied by its intricate pierced scrollwork wooden display base, this decorative container makes a striking focal point on a mantle, entryway console, coffee table, or vanity.

  • Overall with stand: 8.5"H × 8"L × 6"D
  • Porcelain box alone: 5"H × 7.5"L × 5.5"W
  • China, late 20th Century (c. 1970s–1990s) vintage export porcelain

  • Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Minor age-appropriate wear to the underside base and wooden stand, consistent with age and gentle display.

  • International customers: We use DHL Express for all international orders. Tracking information will be provided immediately upon shipment. Customers can use their own local currency and a local payment method during checkout. Duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, and no additional costs will be incurred at delivery.
