Pair of early 20th Century English Staffordshire lions laying down and looking so elegant and royal. They were painted by hand and you can see the uneven brush strokes and slight differences in the paint application. For example, one has whiskers but not the other one.

They will dress up your mantle or bookshelves quite beautifully.

• In excellent antique condition, no chips. Upon close inspection you may notice a couple of small hairlines on the back of one of the lions but they are from the firing process and not damage

Beautiful pair of vintage whippet dog bookends by Andrea by Sadek. There is something so incredibly elegant in the way these hounds sit upright on those cushions.

The bookends are very delicate and the craftmanship is exquisite. Bottom is lined with felt and underneath the felt they have holes so you can fill them up with sand and add more weight to them in order to hold heavier books, if you wish.

A fantastic German porcelain figurine depicting Marshal Jean-Baptiste Bessières on a galloping horse and holding a sword. Bessières, the 1st duc d'Istrie, was a French military commander and Marshal of the Empire who served during both the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. 

The figurine is hand-decorated in fine detail with bright, glossy colors particularly Bessières' outfit and his saddle. The base also features thick gold trims with four French Empire Eagles on each corner.

An adorable vintage large Chinese majolica pig on pedestal. Made in a Chinese Sancai Tang style, it was beautifully glazed in green, brown and white/cream hues against a very finely crackled ground. Chinese characters are embossed on the base.

A magnificent pair of guardian lions beautifully crafted of high fired ceramic and glazed in a vibrant turquoise blue.

You often see these in a much smaller 7“ or 9” size but these stand 12.5” tall.

This is a matched pair, with the female lion sitting atop a pedestal and holding a puppy beneath her paw. The female lion represents yin and symbolically protects the people dwelling in the home. The male lion has his paw on a ball that is carved out with geometric patterns and  signifies control over his domain and protection of his home.

A fantastic pair of rare porcelain Sulphur-crested cockatoo parrots by Vista Alegre. They are each perched on a cherry tree branch with red cherries and green leaves and feature gold scrolls around the base. 

They are reminiscent of old, antique German porcelain parrot figurines. A gorgeous pair and in excellent condition.

Made of bonded marble or oxolite, a compound used in Tuscany by sculptor atelier A. Santini to reproduce original Carrara marble statues. Made of lime stone and marble dust and mixed with resin, it creates a realistic Carrara marble.

A fantastic large Chinese export Famille Rose ceramic tureen in the form of a beautiful swimming goose with elongated neck. She was hand-painted all over with intricate feathers highlighted in gorgeous hues of emerald green, purple, orange and yellow and finished off with white and black accents.

She is in swimming position with her legs and wings folded and her neck is elegantly stretched and looking a bit to the side. Beautiful enamel work throughout the entire body!
