Vintage Neoclassical French Louis XVI Style Revival Side Table

This petite Louis XVI Revival piece from the early to mid-20th century pays homage to the symmetry and restrained classicism of late 18th-century French court style. The table stands on four quintessential Louis XVI fluted legs, which are straight, tapered, and feature vertical grooves. The apron featured bronze toned applied crowned urn with draped swags (possibly resin). The overall form is rectilinear and balanced, showcasing a sophisticated restraint.

Its petite dimensions make it an extremely versatile accent piece: as a Side Table beside a sofa or accent chair, offering a surface for a lamp or books without crowding the space; a Petite Console for small, narrow hallways, landings, or entryways, providing two tiers for keys, mail, or a small floral arrangement; as a Nightstand in a smaller guest room.

Made from warm-toned hardwood, it features an amber finish and a useful lower shelf for display or storage.
