About the Maker

Brought to life in her Birmingham, Alabama studio, each piece by Susan Gordon Pottery is an original work of art designed to elevate everyday rituals with timeless, feminine elegance. Crafted entirely by hand from a simple wad of clay, every item undergoes a meticulous multi-step journey—including hand-shaping, smoothing, glazing, and finishing touches of gold luster—passing through more than five pairs of expert hands and eyes before completion. This dedication to traditional craftsmanship ensures that while these pieces are brand new creations, they possess the soulful artistry and heirloom quality that feel right at home alongside antique and vintage treasures.

I was impressed with the beautiful quality of my hooked poinsettia throw pillows. They look stylish and lavish on my sofas . The service in getting them before Christmas was remarkable. I had tried another business but to no avail. I am a very happy customer of House of Andaloo.
