True to the Biedermeier period, they showcase a striking, contemporary flair with their highly architectural and geometric forms. The tables are supported by an eye-catching, flared tulip-shaped pedestal base that transitions gracefully from the octagonal base to the table top, creating a very captivating silhouette. The design features a symmetrical octagonal table top and a corresponding octagonal plinth base.
The tables are clad in a beautiful, warm-toned Lemonwood veneer with a beautiful starburst pattern on the top surface and a shimmering, vertical flame-like figure across the pedestal.
The underside of the base confirms the origin and quality, including labels for "HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE BY William Switzer" and "MADE IN ITALY." Design is called Tulip Table and it is still being offered by William Switzer for $3,625 per single table.
