A striking pair of Italian armchairs in an elegant Neoclassical revival silhouette. These handsome chairs capture the grandeur of the Regency and Empire design movements with their expertly carved details and stately silhouette

They feature lion's head masques on the arm supports and sculptural claw-and-ball feet on the front legs, both finished in a contrasting black lacquer. Scrolled, curved backs and saber-style rear legs create the iconic profile of period Neoclassical furniture. Newly reupholstered in a plush, powder blue velvet fabric, finished with a decorative silver-blue braid trim. The light, airy color beautifully contrasts the rich wood tone.

Stamped "Made in Italy" on the frame, these chairs are a beautiful example of high-quality early to mid-to-late 20th-century vintage production, honoring classic European design.

Perfect as host and hostess chairs for a dining table, elegant side chairs in a master suite, or statement seating in a formal library. They retain a beautiful, warm patina to the wood frame, highlighting their vintage character.
