Elevate your hearth with this late 19th century antique French wrought iron swinging kindling log holder with pinecone finials. With a Neoclassical silhouette, the cradle features a striking horizontal design, suspended between two sturdy black iron posts on a swivel or pivot mechanism, allowing the basket to gently swing. The posts are dramatically capped with classic pinecone finials. The cradle itself is formed of open wirework, finished in a distressed gold/bronze patina that shows its age and character.

Its dimensions are ideal for holding kindling, fatwood, or smaller decorative logs. The hammock-style cradle adds a touch of visual lightness to the heavy iron construction, resting on elegant scrolled feet.

Styling Ideas: Place directly on the hearth to hold kindling and fire-starters. Repurpose it in the living room to hold magazines, books, or a rolled throw blanket. Use it as a unique display piece on a console table.
