The box opens to reveal a vibrant gold plated (vermeil style) interior, providing a luxurious contrast to the cool silver tones of the exterior. This dual-tone aesthetic makes it a sophisticated choice for serving nuts, holding small trinkets, or simply acting as a conversation-starting sculptural element on a coffee table or sideboard.

  • Made in Japan for F.B. Rogers Silver Company, circa 1970
  • Great vintage condition, with an authentic patina over several decades. Some surface tarnish and minor pitting, particularly around the lower basin of the walnut.
