A gorgeous high quality early 20th Century Sheffield silverplate fish carving knife.  

The blade of the knife is beautifully carved with a pierced cut engraved scrolling design and the handle is highly ornate in typical Victorian fashion. 

Martin Hall & Co silversmiths was founded in 1820 in Sheffield England and retailed through all the large department stores across England at the time and continued to produce high silver until they closed their doors in 1936.
