Made by the renowned American silversmiths Reed & Barton sometime mid to late 19th century, this substantial piece is a testament to sophisticated Victorian-era dining and entertaining.

Traditional elongated oval dome with a smooth, arched handle/finial. Silver Soldered (a high-quality process often used in early hospitality and railroad silver).

Originally used to cover, keep warm, and dramatically unveil the main course, this cloche is a true statement piece that elevates any table setting. The expansive, oval form and beautiful brass-toned patina make it a standout for display when not in use.

  • Great condition, rich, naturally aged patina with brassy, gold tones peeking through the original silver-soldered finish. Minor surface marks and light spotting consistent with 150+ years of use and history.
