Hand-Painted Regency Style Porcelain Urn Lamp with Gilt Ram Heads

A beautiful vintage French porcelain table lamp with a classical urn silhouette and gilt ram heads. The creamy white porcelain body is beautifully hand-painted with two central cartouches features a charming black-and-white pastoral landscape scenes depicting village scenes. One scene is signed by the artist, likely "De Lay," which adds a wonderful layer of artistry and provenance to the piece.

The pastoral scenes are framed by lovely garlands of pink and yellow roses, with additional decorative bands in grey, black, and gold gilt accents.

Perhaps the most compelling feature is the pair of exquisite, three-dimensional gilt ram heads serving as handles on either side of the urn, a signature Neoclassical element symbolizing nobility and strength.

The urn rests on a stepped pedestal base with more hand-painted details and is mounted on a contrasting bronze square plinth.
