A whimsical pair of vintage ceramic monkeys with a creamy white craquelure finish. One monkey sits scratching its head in a contemplative pose while the other holds a piece of corn. Both are perched on a multi-colored log base with earthy tones of brown, green, and orange.

They are light and delicate, and an excellent example of mid-century ceramic style (1940s-1960s). They fit well with Hollywood Regency and Chinoiserie decor. They would look fantastic on a mantel, bookshelf, or as a centerpiece on a coffee table. The bottom of one figurine has a felt pad to protect your surfaces.
