Antique German Majolica Basketweave Hibiscus Plates
FREE US SHIPPING
Set of six antique majolica basketweave plates in a gorgeous tan color and a bright red hibiscus flower with a yellow stamen, and lovely green leaves. The coloring is absolutely beautiful and they display beautifully.
Made by the Georg Schmeider majolica factory in Zell, Germany sometime between 1900-1920 and hand-decorated by L.D.B. & Co, a Bavarian porcelain design studio at the time. They each show kiln marks on the back as you want to see on antique pottery like this.
Set of six plates
Excellent antique condition, with just a couple of teeny tiny pain nicks on the rims but only noticeable upon very close inspection
