A beautiful Rococo Louis VI king size headboard by Karges Furniture. Masterfully carved giltwood with an armorial crest main focus, the red Italian clay bole ground behind the gold leaf.

Karges typically made its furniture in Indiana, USA but it is very likely this was made in Italy for Karges.

Total width is 93.5" but the width of the actual frame is 80".

  • Overall excellent condition with only a couple of scuff marks on the edges. Wear consistent with age and use
