Italian made sculpture on black marble base of Goddess Venus, the Roman counterpart to the Greek Goddess Aphrodite. It is a modern representation in tangible form of Sandro Botticelli's Birth Of Venus painting.

Made of bonded marble or oxolite, a compound used in Tuscany by sculptor atelier A. Santini to reproduce original Carrara marble statues. Made of lime stone and marble dust and mixed with resin, it creates a realistic Carrara marble.
