A grand oval jardinière (cachepot) in the Neoclassical Revival style. Crafted from glazed earthenware, possibly faience, and features stunning, high-relief molded decoration. A rich rust-red background provides a dramatic contrast to the creamy white glaze. The body is encircled by classical laurel garlands and fruit swags, suspended by ribbons. Flanking the sides are bold lion head medallions, a classic motif that instantly adds historical depth and character. The jardinière rests on four small, molded feet.

At 18 inches long, it is the perfect size for a grand centerpiece on a dining table or a substantial accent on a console or mantel. It fits beautifully into traditional, classic, or even modern eclectic interiors looking for a touch of 'Grand Tour' antique flair.
