A large contemporary porcelain decorative shallow bowl featuring an allover hand-painted stylized Chinese dragon chasing the flaming pearl motif. 

Perfect centerpiece for a large tabletop surface like an imposing dinner table or coffee table. The classic color palette makes it easy to blend into most design styles.

The Chinese dragon is a benevolent creature in the Chinese culture and this representation is often interpreted as the representation of a celestial luminary, either the sun or the moon and the dragon's play is seen as an attempt to swallow the pearl, in order to bring on a solar or lunar eclipse.
