An old federal giltwood eagle convex mirror for the perfect touch of Americana design. Crafted from giltwood with an ebonized inner frame around the mirror, the mirror features a carved perched bold eagle (representing America's independence) watching over thirteen gilded spheres representing the original thirteen colonies. Six ribbons adorn the outer frame, as well as decorative carved acanthus leaves are placed around the frame, at the top and base. 

The wood is overlaid with a bronze gilt, giving it an old, rich and elegant appearance.

  • Great vintage condition, with normal signs of age like scratches and little dings but mostly on the sides but not much noticeable when displayed

Customers can use their own local currency and a local payment method during checkout. Duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, and no additional costs will be incurred at delivery.
