Beautiful pair of vintage American-made drop-leaf Pembroke end tables by Henkel Harris from their Virginia Galleries collection. Made from beautiful mahogany with a rich, deep finish. They feature a versatile design with two rounded drop leaves that can be raised to expand the tabletop size, and supported by four elegant, slender, Federal style tapered legs. Each table has a single, dovetailed drawer, accented with a classic brass bail pull.

These versatile tables can function beautifully as side tables next to a sofa or armchair, bedside tables in a master suite, or even as small console tables in an entryway when the leaves are down.

Henkel Harris primarily specialized in reproducing classic 18th-century designs (like these Pembroke Federal tables), and the "Virginia Galleries" mark was used for its premium line of reproduction furniture made between 1950 and 1980. These were likely an earlier production based on the label.

  • Really great condition, both structurally and esthetically. The tabletop surface has been refinished to address a couple of old water stains while the rest of the frame is in excellent condition with very minor scuff marks around the feet. 

This is a vintage, found item and may contain imperfections from years of wear. These imperfections are not considered defective.
